The new EVT-PB1-H05Q video, power and data (VPD) balun with voltage booster provides an inexpensive, flexible solution for sending both data and power on CCTV signal lines.
The EVT-PB1-H05Q is a Passive Video Balun with a built-in selectable 12/24 VDC voltage booster. Passive Video Baluns allow a CCTV camera's video signal to be transmitted over low-cost CAT5 unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cable instead of costly coax cable. They are suitable for full-motion color and monochrome cameras and provide a quick, low-cost way to connect CCTV cameras to a monitor, multiplexer, or video recorder at up to 2,000 feet (610m) away.** Video, power, and data (VPD) over Cat5. Built-in voltage booster compensates DC voltage drops over long cable runs. Input voltage: 7~24 VDC. Selectable 12/24VDC output via jumper, plus Vernier adjustment within each setting. Transmits video up to 2,000 feet (610m) over Cat5.** Output current: 500mA. @ 12 or 24 VDC. Dual-colored LED power output indicator: Red: 12VDC Blue: 24VDC Green power input LED indicator. Built-in overload and short-circuit protection. Passive balun operation -- No external power required. RoHS compliant. Uses low-cost Cat5 cable instead of costly coaxial cables. High immunity from interference – Built-in impedance-coupled device and noise filter. Helps to reduce RF interference, cross talk, picture tearing, and other picture quality problems. Gold-plated BNC connector for reliability and longer life. Built-in multi-color LED indicates power is on and polarity is correct.
