OPTEX KX-08 Ceiling Mount Passive Infrared Detector with Pet Immunity

Optex's KX-08 rejects false alarms caused by spot temperature changes such as small to medium sized animals, air conditioners, or moving curtains. Utilizing Quad Zone Logic, the KX-08 couples signals from its 78 detection zones to determine the size of its target.
Its high quality spherical lens and its dense detection pattern give the KX-08 Catch and Pet Immunity that is superior to other single technology detectors. KX-08 features an insect shield sealed housing, high reliability, ease of installation and blends in perfectly with its small ceiling mount design.
Optex' s Optical Quad Technology uses taller detection zones divided into upper and lower areas. KX-08's spherical lens obtains an accurate focal length for each detection zone and maximizes the performance of Quad Zone Logic. It detects IR energy changes in both areas and then couples them for extremely accurate detections.
KX-08's ECO Chip includes a temperature compensation circuit which controls sensitivity to improve stability against changes in environmental conditions.
