OR601 / OR601W Outdoor Remote Stations The OR601 and OR601W Outdoor Remote Stations provide for two-way, hands free communication to inside master stations for a variety of Alpha Communications® intercom systems, where no call button, or a separate call button is required. Used typically as an outside door station, the OR601/ OR601W are rugged, dependable units designed to provide natural, clear voice communication, and hands free reply. The stations are ideal for outdoor use, in office, home, plant, warehouse, retail business, and similar applications. The OR601/OR601W are designed to be a 2- wire type remote stations. The installer may drill out the faceplate and install their own pushbutton, or may provide a separate call button, if needed. Please check the system specifications to see if the addition of a call button will result in a change in wiring requirements. Operation of the stations is simple and efficient, when called by a master station, audio response is hands-free. When used with our SM201B and SM400 series systems (and some others) the installer must install a model EC105 non-polarized capacitor into these remote stations.
